Can Trump Win....

That's good to hear. If right wing voters say things like this then it suggests that America might not go down a very dark path.
Idiocracy was supposed to be satire. It is turning out to be way to close to reality.
What would a President Trump look like? (March 16, 2016 at 2:12 pm)Jenny A Wrote: I'm rather to the right of most posters here. I have voted for republican candidates. But #nevertrump. Never ever, ever. I've voted conservative before. But I could never vote rightwing. (March 16, 2016 at 2:26 pm)KUSA Wrote: Trump wants to build up the country. Do you ever ask how and why? Do you take any politician at their word or is Trump the exemption because he appeals to your instincts. RE: Can Trump Win....

Rare to find an honest politician (like Sanders). RE: Can Trump Win....

If I thought taking his name in earnest would help, I would. I'm hardly right wing. Being to the right of most of the members here, is moderate. Really. Libertarian or independant is a better describtion of me. Or better yet, socially left, but freedom not entitlement left, and freemarket right, but not to extreme. There are good reasons for some regulation. Wealth redistribution is not one of them. Preserving safty, preventing the tragody of the commons, or maintaining a level playing field are But if it makes you feel better, and it makes me feel better, there are many long term republicans who are #never trump. "I agree with Donald Trump on virtually nothing and don't consider him a Republican. Not only won't I vote for him in a general election, but I'll vote for either Hillary or Sanders and will do so without a tad of guilt of voting for a Democrat. For that matter, if the election looks close, I'll even consider following Trump's example and donating money to Hillary. … As Americans, I think we have a moral obligation to choose between the lesser of two evils … or as Churchill said: ‘If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favourable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.” http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/20...nevertrump There are more quotes like this one in Megan McArdle's article at the link above. If you have any interest in reading a thoughful, factual, republican, she's a good choice. This particular article is as she says herself anecdotal. But there are many, many die hard republicans who will vote for and even donate to H. Clinton to avoid Trump.

And the cost to Germans, Europe, humanity, gays, and Jews, was astronomical. The Middle East, Africa, Australia, a new Asia didn't fare very well either. And in the end Germany lost. Hitler committed suicide. Germany was divided for over thirty years. Is that what you envision for America? No thanks.(March 16, 2016 at 2:28 pm)Mathilda Wrote: Hitler built up his country as well.
