If you would be a good observer you would understand that everything is made of energy and consciousness.  Logic
Matter is full of it and so everything and everybody else but you don't want to see anything that goes against your dogma that there is no evidence.
The universe is full of evidence that consciousness and energy are the two sides of the same sheet.
One can not do anything without the other.
And if consciousness is there also the mind that originate that consciousness is there.
This is like maths.
You can't go wrong if you follow logic.
But of course if you follow fantasies then you can be sure that your judgments will be 100% wrong.  Lightbulb

Lol, you're a little weirdo, but I like you.  :: pats head ::  [emoji6]

I like you too.  Hedgehog
By the way are you a good observer or you ignore the evidence?  Smile

I am an atheist, if that is what you mean.

Ehmmm, sorry to give you some bad news but a good observer can not possibly be an atheist.  Tut Tut
Where there is energy there is consciousness.
And guess what?
The universe is full of it.  Logic
From here a good observer would automatically understand that there is a mind behind this
consciousness therefore atheism is off the question.
Never mind Lady.

So far, there is no evidence to suggest that "consciousness" is anything other then a byproduct of the brain. Your claims are and still remain complete rubbish, Rik.

The word "atheist" is just a tag for a person that does no believe in any deities. If Harry Potter fans are called Potterheads, and Twilight fans are called Twi-hards (last i checked), why isn't there a name for none fans?

Christ!.
Switch on your brain Wind so the consciousness is free to reason.  Banging Head On Desk
How the hell is possible that something physical as the brain can create something abstract as the consciousness?  Banghead
Get real Wind.  Doh
Now that you grow up you should stop masturbating your brain in such a way.  Tut Tut

The problem Wind is that there is plenty of evidence around to understand that a superior mind is behind this world of energy-consciousness.
To dismiss all this without having first look at the evidence and call yourself an atheist doesn't make any sense.  Wink

Really? What form of energy? Potential? Kinetic? Thermal? Electrical? Chemical? Nuclear? At what electromagnetic frequency does consciousness emerge?  300 EHz? 3 Hz? Somewhere in between? If a cow farts in a pasture, moving the tall grass and thus releasing “energy”, is this too a form of consciousness?  I’d say the thought expressed by the energy released from bovine flatulence is as equally malodorous as your hypothesis.

Classic argument from ignorance. Just because you cannot explain how consciousness works, doesn't mean Gawddidit!

RE: The main reason I'm an atheist
Abstraction is fairly simple to explain vie mechanical means.  It's how computers work, after all.  It's also how you determine whether it's hot or cold outside, and specifically -how- hot or cold, in part.  You see, you have no "internal mercury thermometer", no way of measuring the temperature -itself-.  What you can detect, is the rate of energy exchange between your body and the ambient air (or an object).

The hitch to telling whether it's hot or cold, -abstracting-....in this manner, amusingly, is an inability to reliably determine the difference between a very hot or a very cold iron without mountains of additional and related data. Even if you have that additional data the method can still be spoofed...you can "feel hot" or "feel cold" in ways completely unrelated to the actual temperature...and each individual human being seems to have different thresholds for hot and cold as relative descriptors; thusly we both walk outside and one of us says "must be 90 out here at least"...and the other says "nah, 85, tops".

Your body abstracts "temperature" from "rate of energy exchange", with your skin as the instrument (very physical..I hope you'll agree) -and "you" (whatever that is) use the one to make an educated guess at the other. The upshot of all of this, is that now...you can't even use your argument from ignorance anymore.

I found another contradiction in the bible:

"Mother's tired, she needs a rest, the kids are playing up downstairs."

"Nothing ever slows her down, and a mess is not allowed."

If you are such an expert in this field you should know that energy is blind.
Just try to put your little finger where the electricity is running.
You may even die.
In nature energy is stored everywhere and in the matter.
In this way it doesn't create problems except in rare cases such as storm, lightning or other natural phenomena.
Different types of matter and other sources like oil store different types of energy so it is not possible to say that all types of energy are the same.
Not only that but even the same type of energy stored in the same type of matter can express itself
at different times.
It depend on many factor such as the age of that matter such as the place where that matter is located and a myriad of other circumstances so your quick conclusion and judgement to such a complex issue is worth very very little.

Consciousness is superior to matter therefore it can not be created by matter.
Take your car.
Can the car create you or you create the car?
You never thought about that Traveler did you?  Smile
