Already, at the start of this thread, you judge and you accuse those who don't believe as you. Tell me, do you follow ALL of the rules in the bible, or like your buddies here, do you only subscribe to those that are pleasing to you?

That's a good point, yeah. I could imagine a lot of theists being jealous that atheists are generally bound by less rules.

I'm quite happy to say that personally, I'm a strong atheist regarding most common God claims. I do actively believe there is "no God", according to all the myriad of different versions I've heard so far (except the generic one with no side of word salad). I positively believe they aren't real. I have a lot of good reasons to think this is the case.
However, it's extremely dishonest to try and make out every atheist is a strong atheist, because it's just not true. All those people who say they are "just agnostics" are almost certainly weak atheists by our definition.
With regard to a simple, generic, deistic style creator without go-faster stripes and "best at" awards all over his shelf, I'm a weak atheist.
I understand the frustration of some theists and the desparate attempt to force everyone into having a positive belief, because a lack of belief is unassailable.

Area 69 is another subforum, which is hidden from those who haven't yet joined it.
