Why do atheists and liberals like Islam?

Atheists nor liberals like Islam. But everyone has a right to believe what they want, without being you know... ACTUALLY persecuted. Christians in this country wouldn't know what persecution looked like if it bit them in the ass. It's a bit funny how the folks who LOVE religious liberty LOVE denying it to others.

A couple of muslims commit terrible acts, and everyone goes crazy and suggests banning muslims.
A couple of Christians do the same thing, and the silence is deafening. Except for the part where they use the No True Scotsman defense.

Tell me when a Presidential Candidate says "We should ban Christians from coming into this country", and doesn't get destroyed by the media.

As for rightwinger sites in general, I find it kind of ironic that atheist rightwingers accept them as some kind of authority, although most of them consider themselves to be christian platforms.

Islam is a lot worse than Christianity.

Only because we've reigned them in over time. We can do the same to muslims, without destroying islam.

We most certainly can't do that. They can do it, given that they get rid of the mostly authoritarian regimes, sometimes backed by us. That's the same way we went about that business. But we haven't lived under the oppression of several centuries of colonialism. We were the ones doing the colonizing. First the Ottoman empire and then the French and the British, with puppets forming the first "independent" governments.

This is such a strange thing, but I've noticed over the years that liberals and atheists prefer Islam over Christianity. We have terms such as Islamaphobe for example. Where I live in Madison, the freedom for religion foundation doesn't ever go after Islam, but goes after Christianity. Doesn't really go after Judaism either for that matter. Why do the left and the atheists support Islam? Do they support the stoning of women who commit adultery, or throwing gay people off roofs? Do they prefer women have their clitorises cut off for female mutilation? Do they want to walk around in a halloween costumes or bee keeper suits known as burkas? What's up with the left/atheist love Islam? I can understand the left at least because they are all about privilege, but for atheists, that's another story I'd like hear about.

You're not looking at FFRF correctly. Use your mind. Think about why FFRF would primarily be attacking christians. Think about those other minor attacks on other religions and what their true purpose was. Who has the most to gain from attacking christians? Who has the finances to fund this endeavor and the means to do it in a clandestine way? Make it look like it's americans running the show and all the time there is another puppet master. Open your eyes. Figure out what the end game is.

Yeah, I realize I went out on a limb and was royally destroyed on this one, beaten badly, but not stoned to death. I started looking at FFRF, and found out what was posted.

In my opinion the Quran is much more clearly divisive and dogmatic right from the onset.

The bible is very much both of those things, but the Quran leaves much less wiggle room for doubt. And it rubs it in your face right away. It is more of an effective indoctrination manual than the bible.

Maybe this has something to do with Muslims seemingly integrating less well (in general) than Christians.
