Regarding my earlier comment about trans men coming to the rescue, the absurdity is not just shown up by having a man forced to use a woman's toilet, but forcing women to use the men's toilets or locker rooms. I can't imagine many men would be comfortable having to hide their erections if a naked beautiful woman walked in to their locker room. How are their wives and girlfriends going to feel about that?

In my experience, most of the women who are comfortable enough to walk around naked in a locker room are...not the ones anyone would ever want to see.  [emoji13]

Sorry I should have been clearer. I was imagining it as a form of protest in the same way that the trans men have been posting pictures of themselves in women's toilets.

In reality most transgendered people will carry on using the same toilets they have always used but with the added fear of being outed.

Although this highlights another absurdity of the law. How will people know? Are they going to demand invasive penetrative tests before you can enter the toilet? Cis-gendered women are now also at risk of being humilated. So this is not just an attack on the transgendered, but on cisgendered women as well to make sure that they conform to society's expectation of beauty.

Confronting a mortified woman in a crowded Fayetteville, Arkansas restaurant, Alderman John La Tour loudly accused her of being gender ambiguous and told the woman he’d pull out his penis to prove that he is a man.

The woman, who is in fact, a cis woman, happened to be a barista at the restaurant. After being kicked out of the restaurant by the manager, La Tour went to social media to disparage the restaurant owner and urged people not to patronize any of his restaurants. The posting has since been deleted.
