I agree that holding resentments is not good, but telling someone you hate that you hate them is not necessary in order to let go of resentment. If I hated you I wouldn't have to tell you because I can hate you without resenting you. Oh by the way, for what it's worth, I don't hate you. Be nicer to Lostykins and my other friends and I'll dislike you even less. My opinion of you does go down when you're mean to people I like, whether intentionally or unintentionally: But it isn't unrecoverable -- the more you start being nicer to the people I care about the more I'll like you. For a start, you're young... and I don't want to be condescending by saying that -- I am a nicer person than I was years ago. Older people said the same thing to me and I was like "whatever, your age means nothing!" but now a few years later... they were right. I do believe people can learn to be nicer and more moral... I just don't think it's something that we could do by arguing with or debating you, I think it's something that happens in your own time. Just try to be sensitive and nice. Being kind is more important than being right. If I was ever mean to you unjustifiably, I'm sorry -- I get very defensive and angry when I feel someone is hurting someone I care about. Just try to be kind. Good luck.
I agree...I haven't been around that long but I don't remember him spewing all this bitterness and resentment toward women before now. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention... I swear, between pool dehumanizing women, and drich dehumanizing the transgendered...what is going on around here lately? It genuinely bums me out. [emoji53]
