Kingsmoot hype. Jaime sticking it to the Faith Militant and then potentially heading to the Riverlands hype. Dany with the biggest (human) army in the world hype. Bran and Night King hype. Bastardbowl hype.
So much hype this season. Compared to last season this one is miles and miles better. We've also only seen the Sand Snakes once. For like 4 minutes. Coincidence?

I really hope the show moves towards saving the Starks and letting them claim their land again instead of killing off more of them. Though I think that dude is gonna make a wreak out of the young stark boy.

The thing is, them axing the Dorne story is a good decision now, but when everyone looks back at the series they're going to think, "Wow, what a waste of time that was." It took up a significant portion of Season 5 that could've been used for other things. I wish they had continued with whatever they were going to do so at the very least it wouldn't feel like a total waste. Unless this is what they were planning on doing the entire time, which is even dumber.
Yeah, Dorne certainly won't be held as a great part of the series. But I think that's what the show-writers noticed, and that's why the very first episode had the big climax of that plotline (Doran + Trystane being assassinated, Sand Snakes having control of Dorne). They were 'ripping off the bandaid' in the first episode instead of dragging that plot over the next 5-6 episodes. I think Dorne and the SS will only appear in necessary, big plot events from now on.

I cannot speak for the show, since it seems to be going in its own direction, but G.R.R. Martin made a promise to his wife that one character he would never kill off was Arya.
