Completely left out was the fact that her boyfriend had been violent, and he had a history of violence against her. They were also lenient because she showed remorse, administered first aid, and had children to take care of as well-- which were all considered when they sentenced her.

Oh and of course Ethan Couch getting probation for killing four people in a drunk driving incident. Which pretty much everyone knows by now.

So even if the sentencing is a little unfair, it happens for men as well.

Find me an article that has a man murdering his girlfriend -stabbing her to death and end with basically getting grounded AND allowed to further take care of his children,not only that but the added benefit of society defending his actions. It's mine boggling how dumb of reasons children are taken away from men, but with a woman you can stab someone to death and still take care of your children?

I'm not looking at your interpretation of the case, I'm looking at the judges and look at what he says, he says, prison isn't necessary because Taimurderercunt was already remorseful. So she felt bad for stabbing her partner to death, I'd expect atleast that from any decent human being, so she's grounded and allowed to further take care of her children because she was feeling bad? Wow, okay.

I thought the article said she was severely mentally distressed after stabbing her partner to death? So what do they do, they say,"it's okay sweetie, we know you didn't mean it, don't feel so bad about yourself, we're going to ground you for a few months with your children.". Please don't tell me you honestly think this as a justifiable sentence, would you support the sentence if it were a man that stabbed his girlfriend to death and then allowed to take care of his children?

My honest response would be that you need better judgement when choosing your boyfriends. You can't really complain shitty people for acting shitty,it's their norm. Considering the fact that you were 20 and you're pretty good looking you'd probably have had atleast 3 guys ready to treat you like a princess at that time , right?  Just speculations on my part though, don't get worked up if I turn out to be wrong.
Of course in no way am I justifying what that person did to you.

Am I to assume you had the same advice for the guy in your OP? He should have made better judgement in choosing his girlfriends or he would get himself killed?

Dude, my boyfriend for two years before the abusive one was first saxophone in the marching band. He went to college on full scholarship and was an Eagle Scout.
