Here he is OFFERING UP HIS DAUGHTERS TO BE RAPED. If he's sooooo hospitable, the angels aren't helping, and the mob is only interested in men, maybe he should have offered himself up instead.

If it was my kids, I'd try to hide them or get them out or if all else failed, fight off the crowd as best as I could, not be like, "Oh, here are my daughters! Have fun!"
