It's account specific apparently. Facebook's system somehow identifies you as at risk and wants you to download software (Made by McAfee, a company that they've partnered with).
Basically you're probably not at risk and they want you to download software made by their buddies. Or alternatively, it could be an actual phishing site.

I'm a FB OG. Had that shit when it was just colleges. It carries a certain nostalgia for me.

Smartphone apps have killed sitting down at a computer to use social media. I never actually log into my Facebook account or post anything anymore, I just use the messenger on my phone
Instagram, Snapchat and Whatsapp have pretty much killed Facebook.
I had MySpace back in the day but I haven't logged in for years. Can't even remember my login details now.

Well, I have gone to using the app on my phone, which ironically makes me post less on there than before. I've always used my computer for most everything, while the phone mainly serves as a writing app.

FB is a marketing profile generator to pester you with personalised ads. There's no more to it.
