Too bad the caliphate didn't survive to dance on their graves. What's the SOP here, can we use the same funerary rites and rituals...or will the respective mourners tear each other to pieces at the mere suggestion?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Don't worry, Atlas, I like your insight. And that Egyptian music video was pretty nice. Are those people in jail yet? Looks like quite a provocative video. I am sure General Sisi would not be happy if he saw it!

It won't make any sense to mourn invisible things; the caliphate was buried in a land with no name, on a grave with no gravestone; but in the case of the Sykes-Picot states, they cannot be even touched or seen to be buried and mourned. I think you're giving them too much credit when you apply the same principles & rules that we use with humans on them. The Doors, I do know a song they played (Riders in the Storm) : MrNoMorePropaganda On the contrary this is Army propaganda; they produced this song after the coup of 30/6 , roughly translated to "blessed are your hands, army of my country". Military vans used to roam the streets of Cairo after the day of a coup playing this song, all the singers you see in the video are what we call "Folool"; the same dirty crooked garbage that stood with Mubarak before. The video clip is hilarious, but they are not making fun of the army MNMP,they are "praising" it xD Yes they are that sad. I wasn't exaggerating when I described the Sykes-Picot regimes and their supporters, with being cattle. Laugh and cry at the lies, the stupidity, the mental retardation..
At least the Egyptians have Mubarak on trail. Ben Ali and Saleh are hiding in Saudi at the moment. I don't know if you've seen them yourself? And Mr. Bouteflika quietly managed to stay in power in Algeria.
Tunisia is the only success story. But al-Saud's influence is on the rise there. I was watching a documentary on Tunisia the other day; I think it was part of the "Tunisia: From hope to disillusion". If you can find it it's good. They were in southern Tunisia for one section and they asked a villager about the local Salafi Mosque and he said to stay well away from it because they will send you away as they will not do interviews. He basically said: "Some of them have come back from fighting in Syria, they refuse to learn any language besides Arabic (i.e. not French or English like well educated Tunisians), but I know them; all of the families in town know each other." Really sad to learn the news of the music video. I thought it had good production values. I will throw my shoes at the military and then they have some extra boots for people to lick: I would love to beat David Cameron with my shoe. He deserves it. He once said anybody who doesn't support UK bombing in Syria is a terrorist sympathizer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuUTPnSUDZ4 Quote:At least the Egyptians have Mubarak on trail. I assume you meant "trial." Yeah... that will certainly help the shitty economy, political dysfunction and no-where-to-go-but-down prognosis. And if they stick Mubarak's head on a spike they can parade around for a day or two before they realize that they are back in the same shitter as before. Then whose head will they want? The Egyptians just changed names, but not the system. It's still Mubarak, only now he's called Al Sisi.
From a purely western perspective stability. For Egyptians, same shit, different day.
Bingo. We have a winner!
How long until the Egyptians figure it out? And when they do, half of them will turn to fucking allah to be their salvation because he has such a great track record in the rest of the world.
Ah, Mubarak is actually spending a long vacation in a 5 star hospital. The guy is still popular to so many citizens.
As for boot licking..well see the supporters of the military: Minimalist's "Stockholm Syndrome" comment is a good description, really. You can see the case we have here: the country is literally full of cows, and anybody trying to get out gets shot and killed in the middle of the street, with millions putting the shoe of the killer on their heads; praising him and singing him songs with disgusting video clips. Tunisian society is more civilized than Egypt's, less idiotic too, but counter-revolution won due to the terrible choice of electing "Muslim Brotherhood-influenced" politicians, who -as the case was in Egypt- failed miserably in leading the country; personally I have tons of problems with MB anyways. Ah yes; Saudi Arabia is indeed the best way out for stinky dictators; they love it! David Cameron is a disgrace. I don't know why you guys keep electing him; I'm hearing good opinions from Britain from other politicians, there's that politician who I can't recall his name; he criticized the shit out of Saudi Arabia once, but Cameron gets elected at the end of the day; and I can't find out why. Minimalist They can't even afford justice and vigilance; neither economically nor ethically, the videos above give more insight. They wasted their lives in 2011 to replace the regime with the same regime, in an act that points to a cultural and mental error in the essence of Egyptian mentality in precise, and Middle Eastern mentality in general. Eventually, the majority came back to the Army's boots. abaris Couldn't agree more, abaris. Mubarak was mainly ousted because of the economy. Only few seeked freedom TBH. The majority thought that that the next president would bring them rivers of cash and gold. But that society will not abandon the sick nationalistic racist mentality of Jamal Abdul-Nasser so easily. Quote:Eventually, the majority came back to the Army's boots. Even the French needed multiple revolutions... and that after chopping off far more heads than ISIS. Most revolutions fail. Welcome to the club. |
