Yes chavs, rednecks are basically the American equivalent of British chavs

I grew up/live in a very chavvy area and I dislike it, it really is such a culture.

I think most countries probably have an equivalent. In Malta they call them "hamallu" ("Hamalli" or "Hamalla" for an individual)

I like the Louisiana accent, and Cajun accents, but not into the Hillbilly accent at all. Ugh vile

I like all the accents therein, but I hate hate hate folks that are proudly uneducated regarding syntax and (especially) punctuation. It's as if good linguistic form is an inconvenience to some, rather than a way to make things easier (run ons without even capitals at the appropriate times, I'm looking at you).

I don't care for the hillbilly one, unless it's used in shows as comedy. Other accents I like are the french, German, Russan and Scottish accents.
