Okay so I work at a VERY small town bank which means I have insane amounts of down time and almost unrestricted access to the internet. Since having discovered this site I have been on and off it every day. (Trying to not look too desperate for something to do or someone to talk to lol) Any topic that I have found that doesn't have a million pages I've tried to jump into. Now that I am caught up I'm gunna need y'all to talk more so I'm not checking the site every little bit looking very pathetic. (every time I see only my username online I cringe lol) Ignore the fact that most of y'all have jobs and real lives and just entertain me

I'd be careful doing any type of non work computer stuff at work. Especially if they don't know you are an atheist. Oh and I really don't care if you were lucky enough to get paid to do not much. Work isn't about making an owner rich it is about you making enough to pay your bills. Lots of business owners sit up front or in an air conditioned office and do nothing but bean count and delegate. I don't care if someone has a job or an owner either is lucky enough not to have to run themselves into the ground, I only get upset at assholes who think workers jobs are there to be numbers on a page as if we are machines.

As long as you are getting your work done and you keep up with productivity and it isn't interfering nobody should care. But I would worry about the content if you aren't sure what your co workers might do.

Oh they know I'm an atheist and they also know that it is as slow as all get out in here. I don't do much work because there isn't enough business for three employees. They want us all to be here though so we are. My boss doesn't believe in busy work just to look like we are working so she let's us do as we please as long as we help the customers when they do come in. Our town has 11 thousand people in it and I'm not exaggerating when I say there are over a dozen banks in a one mile radius so we have a lot of competition meaning we don't get much foot traffic. (plus since online banking is so big lobby banking is almost gone here) They have the ability to see what I do through the computers and the five cameras on me but in all the years I have worked here (and surfed the web the whole time) they have never seemed to care. They did care when I was using too much 'internet' as my boss put it by streaming Pandora music and playing facebook games but I cut that out and they are fine.

Aside from this job I actually have a second job on the weekends that requires me to be up by 430am and do real work as I call it. Figure it balances out in the end. I had a day off for Memorial Day the other day and it was amazing. First day off in 3 months and the next won't be for another month but hey I don't do much here at the bank except Monday and Fridays so I can't complain.

Yesh but my average is only low because I took that one 3-4 month break. I've already made 33 posts today and the day is young, like me.
