Forgive me for not standing by while an ideology of hate drives one massacre after another. I'll continue hurting people's feelings as long as my target ideologies are violent.

Attack the perpetrators of violence then. Why hold other people responsible for the violence just because you've chosen to group them in the same category with those who commit violence?

Much as we hold the catholic church accountable for priest pedophiles that they knew about, should not the muslim religion (mosque/family/confidants/..........) be held accountable for contributing to these acts of terror? Sounds like his family knew before hand, his ex knew. Same for the shooting in cali. Bet the people in the mosques knew also.

I don't hold catholics responsible for child fucking priests, so why should I hold the muslims responsible for their idiots?

In the case of catholics it's the hierarchy. I never held the catholic community to be responsible. Classic case of apples and oranges. And, by the way, as I said above, which kind of muslim would you like to hold responsible? There are at least as many variations as in the christian department.

Where did Orlando shooter Omar Mateen learn to hate gay people? His father yesterday said that it had nothing to do with his religion — but today he uploaded a video to Facebook that demonstrated his own religious intolerance of homosexuals.

As  reports, Seddique Mir Mateen said on Monday that his son was wrong to massacre 50 people at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando because “God will punish those involved in homosexuality” and it is “not an issue that humans should deal with.”

See?  There's your difference between moderate and fundie muslims.  The moderates are willing to let their invisible sky daddy handle things.  The fundies feel they have to give 'god' a helping hand.  Not so different from xtians, really.

Oddly enough, the fundies seem more rational since they realize their god isn't going to do a damn thing and nothing gets done without someone on earth doing it.
