1 John 4:1 compared to The No True Scotsman Fallacy and sophisms

RE: 1 John 4:1 compared to The No True Scotsman Fallacy and sophisms
No, he said that. You don't get to make that call. However if you do want to claim it as his making a statement of fact, guess what kind of burden you have?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

You may think that the definition is partly beyond words but a good way to define it, is the power to choose.

What is the nature of this choice? Are we free to choose however we deem fit, or merely from a set menu of prechosen options?

Do you think your cells control you, slave to them, or do you think you control them, master to them ?

You may think you have the potential to choose good or evil.

Rob is expressing his personal opinion. He is not attempting to prove anything; thus he has no burden of proof. You've been told this before. You're coming off simply as obtuse at this point.

No, I asked him "Do you think you can prove free will is a woo phrase ?" and then you may see that I put "If so burden of proof"

I did not say it was not his own personal opinion.

I can prove free will is a woo phrase .....

Gospel according to Robvalue:

1:12 And so sayeth the Rob unto his value, Woo is the way of the saved and unto thee I grant thee free will to woo.

1:9 and thus the rob took of the rib of man and unto our value created Wooman and Wooman was good and mankind lived happily ever after.

Does he still think I'm interested in anything he has to say?

Do you think you can prove I said he doesn't get to make that call ?  If so burden of proof.

I didn't say it wasn't his own personal opinion.

Thomas Kelly252525,

Do you think, that if god could do anything and everything, he could make you choose whatever he wanted - by only presenting you with choices about which your mind is already made up?

Say, Jesus shows up before you and gives you a choice - suck a hobo's hairy d*ck, OR go to hell forever. So - do you have a choice? Does it mean you're gobbling that cheesy knob of your own free will? Do you tell yourself you just like the taste? Or did Jesus simply know, that you would suck a million dirty dongs, in order to avoid punishment, because you're a little b*tch...

Where's your free will now, son? Tongue

How do you think that proves free will is a woo phrase ? Do you think I said people don't have the choice to woo ?  Do you think I asked him if he could prove free will is a woo phrase ?

No, you didn’t say that - he did. I never claimed that which you ascribe to me, so your insinuating that I did is both arrogant and presumptuous. I also have no burden to prove your negative; that's your bag.

Don't care, thought I'd prove it to you anyway and solve the problem  Angel
