If I get a sneezing fit I usually end up swearing after each one.
When I sneeze at home the cats freak out and run, so I've started doing the same when they sneeze.

"You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"

When I used to say bless you if a person sneezed more than twice I'd say "That's it you've run outta blessings, I ain't blessin you anymore." Lol Oh and my sisters used to sneeze in one room then scream I SNEEZED so that my mom would yell back BLESS YOU and they could hear someone else sneeze two rooms away but 'couldn't' hear my mom calling them for chores or such lol

The 'Bless You' thing is actually quite interesting.
Since the Bible is clear a person's immortal soul is conveyed via the breath, it was/is (or should be if you're a Bible oriented person) a concern during sneezing the soul might be disrupted/dislodged from it's protective lair in the chest cavity and either (never totally clear to me which or both) the briefly unensouled body might be vulnerable to the sway of Satan (or his minions), or the briefly disembodied soul might be similarly vulnerable.
So, to ward off this substantial threat of Satanic depredation, apparently a simple "Bless you!" or "God bless you!" is all that is needed to deflect the entire might of the legion of darkness and protect the briefly vulnerable soul/person.
On a related topic, this religious concept (ordained by God Almighty) that the human soul is conveyed via the breath, is why we saw Henry Ford was so eager to collect in a bottle (on display in his museum to this day) the dying breath of Thomas Edison, his sincere belief being that he had snared, for his own purposes, the immortal soul of that great inventor.
Also, the phrase "Gave up the ghost" is another allusion to the human soul being conveyed via the breath, and giving up the ghost upon death is describing the soul being liberated from it's host body and then wafting up to heaven and it's final disposition.
And this leads us to that common and vile heresy, that prior to birth and the first breath that a human fetus is an ensouled person. Clearly, this is not the case, and maintaining the contrary is clear and open rebellion against God and His definition of human life.
I would take this opportunity to again admonish the Christians in the vicinity to turn away from this foul and vile heresy and get square with God!!
Praise Jesus !!

Sometimes at home I fart when I sneeze. It's pretty safe because the wife cannot hear the farting over the sneeze.
(Except sometimes the fart goes on for 5 seconds after I've stopped sneezing) I Iove it! Hehe

We all know it is pretty common to say bless you when someone does. (which the whole reason that started is hilarious and outdated for today's use) Do y'all say it just out of habit? Do you just say thank you when someone else says it? I personally say thank you quietly but refuse to say bless you to others. One because I think the whole process is childish and two because we don't say anything for coughs or hiccups or farting lol why do sneezes get special treatment? lol rhetorical question since I know the history behind them. The funny part is out of habit I actually still tell my dog and small children bless you when they sneeze.
I read somewhere that one of the medieval popes thought that every time a person sneezed a part of their soul was trying to escape their bodies, so he instituted the phrase "god bless you" to try and stop the truant souls. I still say it when people sneeze out of habit (I also still refuse to walk on people's graves too), and I had a good friend down in Cork, an old man who said "bless you" every time we finished talking and then immediately apologised for forgetting I was atheist. He was an absolute dote.
