Let's see...there's my dad, who on one occasion thought that a book I had borrowed from the library brought demons into our house, which proceeded to further their dark lord's malevolent agenda by causing minor damage to a household appliance (our dryer).
My aunt, who used to be friends with my husband, but after he came out as transgender she abruptly severed all contact with him because "according to the bible, sodomy is wrong." And her husband, who is a Christian dominionist and refused to let her wear make-up (she recently put his whiny, pathetic ass in a nursing home).
I think that does it for the bugfucking crazy ones.

I suspect I have some (thankfully) distant relatives that are part of a 'cult' that is building a survival bunker for the coming end times/apocalypse/Armageddon. I'm a little fuzzy on what good a mere bunker is going to do for them since they are already girded in the glory of the Lord, (praise Jesus!), but I suppose they know what's best for themselves . . .

My mother was a bit religious, or was she, she came out with the religious nonsense when it suited but didn't live her life that way.
She is dead btw and I hope never to see her again, my dad was more interested in football and fishing, top man my dad, I miss him with all my heart. anyways yes my mum was crazy but only when it was in her favour to be so, my dad didn't give a fuck.

Are there such things as sane religious relatives?
A good portion of my relatives across Oz and Kiwiland are Jehovah's Witnesses. That alone makes them insane.
