Yes. But the way the guy presenting it made it sound as if the Greek was correct anyway. I found that strange as earlier the presenter was basically told that KJV was mainly copied from a poor Bishops Bible.

It came across as if you watched the programme while not giving it 100% and missed a few vital bits you'd think KJV really was the original Bible and the word of God.
Had a word with my Pastor and tbh I'm not impressed with his reaction (which was basically don't ask questions and don't watch rubbish)

What would you expect from a pastor?  His job is to sell you 10 pounds of bullshit in a 5 pound bag.

Look. The bottom line is that people are going to believe what they want. If this guy is convinced the KJV is the real deal and he doesn't want to hear arguments refuting that fact, so be it. As long as he's not being all preachy, who cares?

Some minds won't be changed no matter how much evidence you show them. I stopped engaging in this thread pages ago because it's just not worth arguing over. I can respect his right to believe as long as he can respect my rights to know it's all bullshit.

People parade their beliefs to have them attacked.  Why disappoint him?

I'm not entirely sure why the issue of whether or not the KJV was translated "from the original hebrew" would be relevant at all. We have myths, of various cultures -in- the original language...not translated.  Are they more or less "real" on account of that? Are things made more real by being written in hebrew? Why, how...what's so magical about "original hebrew".....?

It just doesn't seem like the sort of thing that requires an ounce of academic consideration...it's not that difficult a question.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

It's a sort of a pretend thing.

Xtians love to insist that their silly-assed OT was "originally" written in Hebrew even though we have not a scintilla of evidence for that position.   The earliest version was written in Greek.  End of story.

But that too makes yhwh look like a schmuck.

The KJV may be a more appropriate revised version of the Bible. However, it's still a load of rubbish at the end of the day.

All Bibles are real. They're real objects with pages and words, it's just the words are a bunch of shit.

Not necessarily true though.
I'm open to all possibilities. I'm what you would call poorly educated, having left school having done no exams. What you'd possibly call ripe to be indoctrinated/brain washed whatever you want to call it. But I am willing to listen and learn I just need proof (i'm already wavering tbh).
As for any insults or rudeness aimed at me on this thread bring it on as it say's more about those that insult than it does me. Show me the evidence, I've already said I'd look unbiasedly and have done so, and not liked what I've seen so far, but again I've broad shoulders and am willing to listen and learn. If people have no interest in helping absolutely fine, I think we can all live with that.

It's almost as if he doesn't want you thinking for yourself. Dangerous shit, that is!

I agree.

Why are you called "KJV" reader? Shouldn't it be "KJB" reader?
