Recurring Dreams
#21
RE: Recurring Dreams
I have not had a recurring dream in a long time.

To be honest, I rarely remember my dreams.

When I do, they're quite intense.

The other night, some feral cat was attacking me viciously. I can't remember how I handled the situation.

Then as I look back (feeling completely out of my mind in panic), the house explodes. I wake up in anguish and tears. I have taken my brother out to dinner more than once after having that dream. Lol!

Tell me you got him a steak, after getting dream-exploded only a steak will do. Big Grin

RE: Recurring Dreams
I can't think of any right now, although I feel I have had some in the past. My dreams are sometimes so weird that they're extremely hard for me to describe; they take place in some reality/unreality overlap. And I've subjected myself to the most horrific nightmares.

I remember hearing once that the notion of a "recurring dream" can actually be part of a dream experience; by that I mean you feel you've had it many times before when you wake up, even though you actually haven't. Sort of like deja vu, I guess. This is based in extremely old memories which may well be warped, so take with a pinch of salt! And I'm not suggesting this is actually the case for anyone here, I just brought it up as the memory was jogged.

I dunno. I do think most folks are nice on here. So I wasn't sure who that was directed at.

Was it a black cat ?

If so, could it have been a spider instead of a cat ??

I think EP was being genuine and used a sarcastic emoticon by accident.
