Hmmm... I think I smoked to much weed, but you won't see me leaving work early. No - I'll just have a little nap and I'll be right as rain in the morning, when it's time to go home... Tongue

I have two big mugs when I first get up and then avoid caffeine the rest of the day.  I drink caffeine free Diet Coke.  Were I to have caffeine after about 6 PM I would be awake most of the night.

But in the morning, its fine.  Go figure.  As Lewis Black says:

Didn't you say that you had a really bad reaction to caffeine before? Not sure why you'd think consuming it on an empty stomach would somehow yield a better result than last time, but I get how someone might feel compelled re-visit caffeine if they felt a desperate need to feel alert and be more productive.

Anyhow, I over-caffeinate a few times a week. A glass of water and a snack always alleviates the symptoms, in my experience.
Plus, I never drink it on an empty stomach. Ever.

No, I never had a bad reaction to caffeine until that other day at work, and it was due to drinking the coffee on an empty stomach.

The thing to understand also is that everyone's body processes things differently, especially when caffeine is introduced to a body that has not consumed it in twenty years.
