Yeah. I think it's something you have to come to terms with on your own to an extent (America and guns).

I was chicken to ask girls out for a long time. Funnily enough I did it all the time until I was about 13. I got rejected every single time, except for once. And that "relationship" didn't last very long. I drew a gravestone with her name on it in an art class. I have no idea why. I was just putting everyone's names on them. She was horrified and that was that.

After 13 I become hugely self conscious and paranoid. I had a major crush on a girl all through high school, yet I failed to say anything about it to her. I sometimes wonder what she would have said, although I think I could guess. Once I become 17 I started getting the confidence to be rejected again. Yeah, rejected a lot of times. I only eventually had anything like a proper relationship when I was 20. I asked a girl out at uni and to my surprise she said yes. We were an awful match though. Doh.

My most obvious example is driving.

I used to be terrified, TERRIFIED, while doing my lessons of even driving down the road.

Now I'm almost too relaxed, I need to remind myself to not go to fast and to take it seriously.

I've never had an accident though and I'm a fairly careful driver, sort of.

I'm still afraid of going on stage but it's one of those fears that I've never thought I'd have trouble facing.

Asking girls out is something I've never done in person, I've never had a long term relationship that wasn't set up via the internet.
