Should we not celebrate or even be pleased when a hate inciting, evil man is brought to justice?

I don't know about you. But I for one reserve my celebrations for something that actually betters a situation. If I were to celebrate every crook being put away while another one takes his place, I wouldn't find time to work.

Honestly it's good that he got that many at least. Inciting people to support a terrorist group is a very passive crime, compared to, say, actually ordering people to commit terrorist attacks. Choudary knew (or thought he knew) where the line was drawn for years, and he only barely went over it this time.

Hopefully when he gets out he'll go off the rails completely and just get re-arrested.

You know, since I joined here, I have a habit with people just making troll posts. I keep repeating my questions for everyone to see that they aren't answered because the people making the claims haven't got any answers.

Usually I did that with some of the more obnoxious theists. But I'm willing and ready to do that for you, as long as you just keep troll posting to declare your love for rightwingers without backing it up.

There are others too. Abu Qatada who the UK tried to extradite to Jordan on terrorist charges but the European Court of Human Rights stopped it many times. There is also Abu Hamza who I believe is in an American prison at this moment in time. So, one small step and all that.

People should have stopped taking this guy seriously and removed his respectability-status as an "activist" years ago. That we've got people who are somehow *shocked* that he's supporting IS is unbelievable, it practically goes without saying that he does.
