Yes, in fact I think I'd prefer it... not that I don't have sexual needs but I'd rather spend the night in someone's arms than having sex. But then again I'm a lazy git

Why not spend the night in someone's arms having sex. They can do all the work. That's an option. In my experience, it's one commonly opted -for-.

I was in this type of relationship with an asexual. Let me just say, I was miserable. I need sex in my life. At 45 years of age, I am far from being done in that dept.

I think I've heard of this relationship before. It was with an ex girlfriend. Except I was the only one being asexual, she was having plenty...
Yes, I could do it, or rather not "do it".
I don't do it all the time.  I suppose I have a moderate drive, but I've been without sex for years and years. It doesn't bother me, because I just happen to have an outlook on life that allows me to adapt to almost anything. Occasionally, the thought of what a shame it is to waste all of my sexy will entire my mind, but I'd hardly consider that a tragedy. I acknowledge the thought, and keep it moving. Sex interests me, I enjoy it (or did), and I'd consider myself slightly more adventurous than the average person...but sex has never been the be all and all for me. I actually find living without non-sexual contact/affection to be more difficult, but I don't find myself seriously distressed by that either; It is what it is. I've got plenty of other things to ponder/worry about. So yes, I could certainly have a romantic relationship without sex...WITH my eyes closed, and one hand tied behind my back!
