Damned Depolorable Drumpfucks

RE: Damned Depolorable Drumpfucks
You've got to love American politics, where anyone left of Adolf Eichmann is considered a radical leftist.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Lol, she would nominate your favorite type: Business-friendly judges who think corporations are people. The fact that they don't wish to pry into a woman's womb or our bedrooms may bother you, but if Republicans wish to cut off their own noses to spite their faces, arguments such as the one you quoted are what they should -- and will -- face.

If you'd rather destroy functioning government than do your job as a Senator, perhaps you should find another job. For all their alleged fealty to a strict-constructionist reading of the Constitution, not one conservative can point to a clause in the Constitution which allows the Senate to refuse to carry out its duty to review judgeships. They are mandated to do this.

Functioning courts are vital, whether we like their decisions or not. Selecting judges on partisan grounds is a good recipe for assuring injustice.

If you're fine with that, I don't know what else to say.

What makes you think I support corporations and big business? You're the one voting for Hillary, not me. Corporations are run by people. Evil greedy people. I'm a proponent for strong unions in the work place. I've led union organizing efforts with the RWDSU and with the UFCW in two of the places where I used to work. The CEO of the company whom I currently work for is a strong ally to Obama's administration and has sought their help to undermine the unions within that corporation. That same corporation also donated to the Clinton Foundation and asked for help from Hillary's state department with import/export regulations that they were having issues with. I'm not for corporations who screw their employees out of livable wages and health care to fatten their CEOs compensation packages.

Late term abortions don't bother you, even well into the 9th month? Do you believe in unfettered access to abortions even up until a day before, or less, before a full term birth?

Which is exactly what we'd get with Hillary.

Agree with access to =/= not bothered. Of course people are bothered by it. IT's not an EASY choice, but it isn't the governments job to make that choice. It's up to the doctors and women involved. Read up on women who have had to have them. Read one of their stories, how heartbroken they are, how hard it was for them, and how GLAD they are that it was an option for them. Some women might still chose to take the risk if their helath is at stake, or bear a child they know for a fact will die anyway, but why should anyone other than that woman, her doctor, and her family be involved in making those choices?

Also, no one is arguing for unfettered access to late term abortions. That is a myth of pro-life to further their goals. It needs to be recommended by a doctor for a good reason.

It's a real life situation, not some hypothetical thing. The facts are that making abortion illegal does nothing to reduce abortion rates. Like with drugs and almost anything, it just drives it underground and makes it more dangerous. Access to birth control and sex education reduces abortion rates though, something the right often fights against.

Not necessary.  "Shithead" is adequate.

Bernie and Donald are right. No doubt, CNN is in the tank for Hillary, even helping her with questions from her debate with Bernie Sanders. It seems the Clinton campaign may have also conspired with the DNC to hire "Democracy Partners" to incite violence at a Trump rally in Chicago

Except, I'm not. I'm voting for Johnson.

And automobiles are driven by people ... they still ain't people. A corporation is an abstraction created to protect people from individual loss in the even of business failure.

Of course they do. Do you even know my position on abortion? Or are you just shooting from the hip at your own talking points thinking that you'll catch me in the spray?

If the mother's life is at risk, yes. Absent health issues for either the mother or the fetus, I think access should be limited once the fetus has started thinking.

But let's put your point into perspective: there are roughly 700,000 abortions annually in America. Of those, only 10,000 or so are performed after the 22nd week -- about 1.4%.

I think we'd get a lot less of it than we would with any Trump appointees ... or with Trump himself. The only part of the Constitution he seems to know about is the Second Amendment.

If by "incite violence", you mean wear T-shirts with,or say aloud, anti-Trump sentiments, then yes, that apparently happened, though there is 0 evidence that the Clinton campaign had anything to do with it (nice that you jump right to that assumption).  But hey, if wearing a t-whirt incites them to violence, maybe the problem isn't with the people wearing the t-shirts.'
