If there is no financial benefit, there is no financial backing, it won't be studied.

Scams can benefit financially, backers for scams benefit also. Look at Peter Popoff, UFO authors (History Channel), crop circle research. There are suckers born every day (maybe millions).

Or, alternatively, if you didn't care about them, you'd follow the context of the conversation and quit trying to find "aha!" moments later shown vapid due to your shitty language comprehension.

You seem like a nice guy when we're talking about real life, and I don't doubt you have a good heart, at the core, but shit like this makes me wonder.

I find that life having no point to it is actually kind of a freeing thought.
I understand that some people are afraid of it, so they can make up a God if they want to. I only have a problem if they tell me to do the same.
To each their own.

What's the point of a "choose your own adventure" book? Choosing an adventure, then choosing a different one, then another... Cheers!

Indeed. But not choosing someone else's for them.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Well, I don't have that belief. So of course I'm going say no. Why, do you think it is? And why do you think it is?
