Antonio Vivaldi: Concerto Grosso Op. 3, #8 in a-minor
Bach so loved it he transcribed it for organ...and in a dark room with the sub-woofer turned up and a glass of wine the sound goes right through you!

If we are talking classical, I can't find anything that tops Ravel's "Bolero."
I also really love Bach's Brandenburg concertos. They rock the harpsichord like no other!
One of my favorites in modern alternative is The Album Leaf. Most of their stuff is instrumental.

One of my favorite Mogwai songs:
I rarely get out to concerts, but I saw them play a club in Nashville in 2006 and it was a euphoric experience I'll never forget.

Speaking of electronica, I've been exploring a lot of interesting music off and on with the Raster Noton label (Ryoji Ikeda, Alva Noto, Kangding Ray, Pixel).
I'm fond of some Boards of Canada and Autechre also.

Another great Mogwai song:
Turn this up and just drown in it. Their shows are just one big orgasm.
