It's actually quite interesting to watch if you find yourself at a Christian meeting. It's like the apologetic's version of the four Yorkshiremen. I remembering the first one get up and say how fucked up he was before he found God and then the others followed with a similar story, but each worse and slightly different.

IMO, this would appear to support the observation made by Andy Thomson, author of Why We Believe in Gods, that religion provides a strong platform for connection, bonding, and attachment, which is a great source of its power over people.

Because it is responsible for all of creation which is a self expression. The unified nature of God is unfolded/spread out/individuated during inflation and these become the forces inside a universe.

God is a noun: a person, place and thing. To us it is mostly place and thing. During inflation it spreads out and becomes the border conditions and shaping functions for the universes.
