See I just see them as good for different things. My Wii and WiiU are for when friends come over and we play BeerKart and the PS4 is for movies and solo gaming. Xbox gets dusted off when I'm in the mood to play Fable.

Well... to me, this Switch thing looks like a Wii-U with detachable controls... oh and it seems all processing is on that tablet thingy, so I wouldn't expect last-gen graphics...
Which means that this ends up being more of an evolution of the Wii-U towards the Gameboy, rather than towards a serious gaming machine. Which isn't bad business... nowadays, the gaming market is shifting to mobile. People want to play their games everywhere, not just when they're home and taking over the family TV  On the other hand, how many batteries will this thing require?! I count 3... 3 weak points.... or, as Samsung is learning, 3 potential bombs!
Batteries? It's rechargeable. It will only have one.
Processing power is my biggest concern. Although, if it can run the Skyrim remaster, it should be comparable at least to a PS4/Xbox One. Having that kind of power on the go is awfully tempting.

They're pretty damn small, so I'm not sure how you could cram some AA's in them.
