There is a significant difference between respecting beliefs and respecting the right to belief. As far as I'm concerned, as long as no harm is done, people have the right to believe whatever nutty ideas they like. Case in point: creationism.

Doesn't make it false either. Supply the evidence to support your version of events and see if it withstands scrutiny.
