The protest were a complete absurdity,......Blacks & Millennials.
Neither group came out to vote. Exit polls showed that 4 Million+ fewer came out to vote than 4 years ago against Romney.
If you did not vote,....you have no right to protest.
I have no sympathy for either group. To lazy to get off your ass or i-phone and get out to vote. You get what you deserve. Now you want to protest,......You are pathetic.

I was at the demonstration in Portland last night. There were more than a few millenials.
There also happened to be quite a few Latinos, black people of all ages, I saw several Muslim women, and even a few middle aged middle class white guys (and ladies).
Incidentally, the mayhem in Portland - as reported both by local media and law enforcement - was done by a group of opportunistic anarchists not connected to the demonstration.
But hey, stereotypes are fun.

Sorry if I am a downer.
I am really feeling bad about the election.
I am typically a supporter of both groups (Blacks & Millennials) , however, I really feel that they have let me down after seeing the exit polls from both groups.

You know, just because fewer voted doesn't mean none did. Lots of millenials and PoC voted. And you know what, everyone has a right to protest. People who didn't vote, people who voted 3rd party, even people who voted for trump and then realized their mistake.
As long as they do so peacefully, maybe they can tell the bigots that this is NOT Trumps America. It's still ours. Good for them.

And I thought it was utter bullshit. Why try to petition Drumph out only to have him be replaced by Shillary? Why not have him be replaced by Bernie Sanders?
If Hillary is elected because of that, you should make another petition.

You're right, but because fewer did we face a certain outcome. Whether that's good or bad I'll leave to personal discretion.

The problem is, it is Trump's America, he's the president-elect for godsakes. For better or worse it's also yours, it's mine, it's everybody's... even for those that you or I would call reprehensible shitpiles. I don't particularly like it any more than the average person, but let's not deny reality here.

The 'day late' part makes me wonder, though...
Trump got 200,000 fewer votes than McCain in 2008 and 1.2 million fewer votes than Romney in 2012.
Clinton got 9.5 million fewer votes than Obama in 2008 and 6 million fewer than in 2012.
How many of those protesters stayed home on November 8th?
How many of those lost votes were due to Republicans gutting the Civil Rights Access and enforcing unconstitutional anti-voting laws in the states?

I have five daughters, and not one of them understand how a sexist racist bully could be elected President. They don't understand how we've not yet had a woman President, and they don't understand how people could have selected this bully. One of them said that even they know not to vote for a bully.
I'm glad to see some people are willing to protest the Presidency of a bully--so my children know that a lot of people don't support bullies. I think it's important for them to see that.
I have 4 daughters. Not one of them could understand how anyone would vote for Mrs Clinton given many of her activities. As far a being female, I never heard any of them sugggest someone vote for her because she was a female. We all agree a woman can and one day will make a great president, but that should not be a determining factor as that is sexist and discriminatory.
They have been raised to be self reliant and think for themselves. I'm sure some will say I indoctrinate that thinking into them since they were knee high to a duck. I would disagree. I raised all of my children to be intellectuals, self reliant and to think for themselves.
There are none so blind as who don't want to see. A man with four daughters shouldn't be on here sing the praises of a sexual predator and misogynist.
