The mainstream new media
After it's spectacular failure in all of the polls and projections in this past presidential race, how do you view the news media?

Is it fair and accurate If so what happened?

Is it biased and intentionally tried to generate the outcome? if not how do you explain the wiki leaks that support this charge?

Is it just so out of touch with America it truly is a complete loss as to what the people in this country really want? Again if not how do you explain how wrong, and shocked they all were? I watched ABC's coverage and it seemed like they were prepared for a small trump rally in the beginning telling anecdotal stories of how he defied all predictions and did a good job so far, but would soon fall under clinton... But when the states kept going red they were all stunned.. Long periods of silence and the women almost broke down and cried a few times...

Does 'freedom of the press' include the right to generate (not report) the news?

what would you think of a state sponsored News network like the BBC?

Extremely biased, especially during Brexit.

I do not disagree.

State sponsored new will always favor the administration no matter if they were marching jews into ovens again.

I am more or less asking what can we do to get a truly facts only/no spin source of info?

I don't know about you but I am getting tired of being lied to by people who have their own agendas for the direction of this country.

We have a radio station here everyone hates and both sides accuse of collusion with the other. that is because they give both sides of the story and let the listener decide.

How do we do this on a national scale?

CNN has proven themselves totally untrustworthy. Not because they are the most biased news network, that's clearly Fox. But Fox doesn't even attempt to hide it; CNN has tried to pretend to be the exemplary news network...when we know how closely they worked with Clinton and the DNC. So they're full of shit.

But before the election I always got my news from multiple sources, and I'll continue to do so.

Mainstream isn't worth watching. New media like Secular Talk is where it's at right now.

As long as you fact check what Kyle says. I like him too but it's worth keeping in mind that he comments stories. He doesn't break them. Same goes for TYT. I like the whole network, but I would never post any of their comments without having checked if it actually pans out as told.
