Surely, he says. Shirley? No we won't. We're going to get a candidate who, privately, endorses and works for the same people.....
Publicly..... maybe, just -maybe-......they'll have a better ad campaign.
I'm calling it now. 2020 wlll be another corporatist in populists clothing. If were lucky.

It's a little early to be picking the next democratic nominee. In 2012, nobody had any idea Trump was seriously going to run for office. In 2008, nobody would have picked Romney to be a presidential nominee (everyone thought Rick Perry was a safe bet then) and in 2004, nobody had even heard of Obama. 4 years is a long time in politics. I'm predicting that what happens over the next two or three years will determine who the next democratic nominee and if the nomination vote were today, I think Bernie would win even if the establishment doesn't want it.
Or, hell, I'd love to see Elizabeth Warren run. Anyone else with me on that?

This is what I'm afraid of too. That the DNC doesn't notice or care what really motivates voters.
I'd like to see Elizabeth too.

We're in a new game book though. Warren, IMO, desperately needs to get ahead of Trump on his taunts. She needs to get 23andMe and have some results to rub his nose in.
It's how the sausage is going to be made now. An unwillingness to fight back at their level courts defeat.
We don't need anymore defeat.
Really.
Got a shit load butt hurt heap of it.

Not a fan of Tim Kaine. Or Cory Booker for that matter.
Elizabeth Warren would be a good choice, though she's going to be a bit older.

Fixed that for you. And it's not a bad thing at all.

I think I could get behind a Warren/Booker ticket in 2020.

She'll be 71 in 2020. That's older than Hillary and Trump are now. She'd be the oldest person ever elected President.

Oooooooo no, one year older. She'll probably have to stay in bed for the whole presidency!
Meh, Reagan was re-elected at 73.
