Trump claims he kept Ford plant here.

RE: Trump claims he kept Ford plant here.
So is Trump going to provide subsidies and tax cuts to keep every company from moving anything overseas? I can do that.
"Here's a bunch of money if you don't leave."
What a dealmaker.
Of course taxpayers are going to fund this, and it amounts to the government/taxpayers paying to have people have jobs in the private sector. I'm failing to see the Invisible Hand of the Free Market doing anything but being severed and used for 'Murica jack-off fantasies.

Trumptards are wetting themselves over temporarily keeping 1,000 jobs in Indiana, but hated Obama for saving the American auto-manufacturing industry. It's so fucking weird.

And this thing about bringing back all this overseas money? What about other places that offer just a marginally better deal? Say, Country X says, "If you park your money here, we'll pay you a better interest rate/Whatever that's better than the lower taxes in the U.S." Won't that pretty much nix any great advantage that Trump has offered?

And charging 35% tariffs (or whatever the percentage would be); won't other countries just respond in kind? Trump is aware that people outside the United States buy things too, no? And that if American products are far more expensive than other similar products, then the other 6.7 billion people on the planet will buy the cheaper ones, right?

This whole thing is a flimflam; a mirage to fool the unwary. But hey, we'll see what happens. It's not like we have a choice.

That's gotta piss you guys off huh???

That trump before he even has taken the oath of office has save several thousand jobs that obama's administration and continued policies chased out of this country.

Seriously guys what would have Clinton done this early in the game if ever to save those jobs?

I like how you waited 2 days to respond to make it look like my post was wrong. If this didn't happen would you have just ignored it?

Also if I had it my way, President Sanders would've done the same thing. Heh, I wonder if Trump took his suggestion...

Stupid people should not be allowed to vote.
So when I say Moron It's not just me calling you a mean name. I am referring to the actual definition...

So Moron, before you speak maybe do SOME Sort of research. Trump is repealing NAFTA/North American Free Trade Agreement. This trade treaty basically states there are no tariff taxes between Canada US or Mexico.

What this means is that a US based company could move from say detroit, where the unions force them to pay their employees $30 dollars an hour for a min wage job/task, to mexico where labor is much much cheaper, maybe 30 per day. and with no tariff tax this means a company like ford can make their cars maybe 30% cheaper.

But what Trump has done is to repeal Bill Clinton's NAFTA agreement and told Ford and Carrier if they send anymore factories to mexico they will be made to pay 35% import tax where currently they would pay none. So essentially it will cost more to do business in Mexico.

This means Trump is not giving people/companies money, he is simply doing what you "Dims" do naturally, tax the hell out of companies, but only the one's who produce over seas and sell here. Rather than tax the Hell out of companies who produce here and sell here like you guys like to do.

Clinton2 (Her-alley) was planning to do the same thing with Trans Pacific partnership. which would be the end of all big manufacturing in the US. That is why she kept pushing small business. As all international compaines would do business in places like china rather than here.
Quote:Trumptards are wetting themselves over temporarily keeping 1,000 jobs in Indiana, but hated Obama for saving the American auto-manufacturing industry. It's so fucking weird.
Glob, Help me... Obama did not save the Auto industry with his bail out. (bush did) Not only that You are confusing the meaning of the word bankruptcy with going out of business. Just because a business declares bankruptcy does not mean they go out of business. What it means is they seek federal protection while they reorganize their assetts so as to be able to meet their debt and continue on. What Obammie did was to allow these fat cats to keep doing what they do without having to cut spending which is the key to a successful bankruptcy. Rather they cut assets/sold out to the governement and opted for tighter governmental over site.

Bankruptcy would have kept the Execs of GM and Chrysler for giving themselves 10 million dollar bonuses for milking the government into paying down their debts... Which remind me again who owns/owned Chrysler anyway?!?!?

You had me envoke Glob, I've told you to study, said people like you should not vote, and called you a moron, what's left??? How can someone so proudly be so uninformed as you and still almost boast of what you don't know?

I'm not a rich person but I have looked into what rich people are doing with their money. What they are doing is sending their money to Over seas banks (investing in some 2% fund) but at the same time they are being charge a handling fee from 10 to 15.99%. then depending on the country the country may tax the hell out of the assetts as well. Let's say it all comes out to 30% annually. If you look at it one way this guy is loosing up to 30% every year keeping his money in a overseas account, but if you look at it from a tax shelter perspective and a 75% purposed clinton tax or a 90% sanders socialist tax the 'investor' is making anywhere from 45 to 60% above and beyond the 10% Sanders or the 25% clinton is allowing them to keep.

So how do 'we' know these 'rich guys' wont get a better deal? Look at the numbers.. it is a legit racket and everyone knows it. These banks/countries are milking rich people. The whole purpose of this is to milk these guys till just before it hurts and then back off just a little. The only thing they will do is offer to charge them less to keep invested in their con game.
Verse what Trump has offered:

To bring their money home free of charge... Have you ever invested in anything before? what about a 401K? Ever try to get your money back out? The fine you to death and then tax the hell out of you.. It's worse here. Verse using a debit card or writing a check anytime you need to draw on these funds.

No Legal money is going to stay unless it is being held up by those crooked banks. (which I'm sure will be headlines once trump makes this official.

Quote:And charging 35% tariffs (or whatever the percentage would be); won't other countries just respond in kind?
Out side of NAFTA, THEY ALREADY DO!!!! So countries ban our products outright!!! Again As apart of the 'make america great again' Trump is going to put an end to all of these one way deals!

Quote:Trump is aware that people outside the United States buy things too, no? And that if American products are far more expensive than other similar products, then the other 6.7 billion people on the planet will buy the cheaper ones, right?
Google it Google NAFTA Google the Trans pacific partnership google the US trade deals we made in the last 20 years... They are killing this country, they are all one way deals the benfits the export country and destroyed our ablity to export/compete with the world market now!!! That is why ALL major manufacturers have left the US. Google how many Companies have sent production over seas in the last 35 years...

So to answer your question yes people outside the us buys stuff. But it is not stuff we make. Why? because we can not make stuff anymore. So what does it matter where the people in the UK buy their TV's if no one makes them here anymore?

Trump is trying to jump start the economy by introducing jobs back into this market, we will need to re-establish a manufacturing infrastructure before we can become globally competitive again. Meaning we need to make the factories here that make the products first, then look to competing on the world market again.

Do you know what you linked me? That headline says that it doesn't work. And the article itself mentions that income inequality tripled, and not only did the income not "trickle down", it actually "trickled up." Everybody (aside from the top percent) were worse off for it.

It seems "Carrier" is just a show for the masses. Trump is saving 800 jobs (more then thousand are going away) for unknown time and in a way that he himself said does not work. See vid:

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Do people still think what Trump says has any relation to reality?
Strange when all the evidence is that he just says stuff randomly with no thought of consequence, history or factuality.
He is a bullshitter and this was explained to me like this. A liar will just tell lies but a bullshitter dosen't care if what they say is the truth or not.
