You'll have to be way more specific than that. What kind of medical care do you mean, who would be receiving this privilege and why do you think they deserve this?
I was intentionally general in my question. I am making no statements about who deserves what.
What sort of medical care should or should not be allowed as covered by Medicare or Medicaid or any other publicly funded health insurance?

I figured you were being intentionally general.

You want me to list all of the medical care covered by these insurances and explain why they should or shouldn't be allowed? Why don't you get straight to your point that would save us both a lot of our time..
Fair enough. Here is my point: Where should the line be drawn as to what sort of healthcare should be subsidized or not? Pregnancy is preventable. So are obesity-related diseases. Should both be excluded so taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill?
It's a slippery slope, making judgments about people we don't know and why they would seek healthcare.

I'm not arguing about what kind of Healthcare should be subsidized or not but I agree with you that it indeed is a slippery slope. My point is that the public should have the freedom to opt out of paying for others' Healthcare needs. It should be seen as a charitable service, not as a fee the public is entitled to.
The general idea behind paying your taxes is you're sharing your fair share of money to the govt so that they can help better your life, in the forms of better roads, safer neighborhood etc. Paying my money to a lady with an unwanted pregnancy isn't going to have any direct impact on my life, so of course, I should have the right to choose whether I want to partake in charity or not.
Thanks for clarifying. We fundamentally disagree on this.
Also, your tax money does not fund abortions. I think it's important that we stick to the facts.

It seems perfectly clear that 'not all blacks are bad people'. What is equally clear, though, is that the All Blacks are baaaaad people...
