There are some genuine female scholars of this stuff, though.

Candida Moss and Elaine Pagels come instantly to mind.

When I think of women I look up to, one that immediately comes to mind is MIT professor Sara Seager. She's close to a real-life Eleonore Arroway of Sagan's fictional Contact novel turned movie. She's special. Google her. She's heavily involved in search for planets around other stars. If I was a billionaire, I would pour money into her research. A brilliant lady and a visionary.

I also have a special admiration for American actress Barbara Eden. I'll admit that part of that is my gonads speaking - I entered puberty watching I Dream of Jeannie episodes. In her prime, she was IMHO one of the most beautiful women on the planet. Yet if you research her, she sounds like an absolute sweetheart - warm, sweet, mild-tempered and down to earth. A very classy lady. Highly talented - outstanding singer and dancer as well as actress - without taking herself too seriously.

I may be cursed for this one but: Margaret Thatcher. She may have been a cast-iron bitch but she was strength when strength was needed. As an American, I'm glad I never had to live under her social policies but there was a reason the tough-as-nails Russians called her "The Iron Lady" - respect. High praise coming from them. She wasn't warm and fuzzy but she was the equal of the toughest male. She may be the ultimate example of female strength and power.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Yes you will be cursed for that...
She may also be eclipsed by Theresa May, there's a reason she got the job of PM following the EU referendum, we need a serious set of teeth up-front in the negotiations...
