I liked the tampons with little bells attached to the string, they were just for the Christmas period

I personally don't consider blood to be anywhere near as disgusting as human excrement; so, the comparison does seem a bit over-the-top to me.
Also, the presence of a foul odor is NOT a normal occurrence during menstruation, and definitely needs to be brought to a healthcare provider's attention. From what I've noticed, the odor is always a bit stronger during menstruation. Some people just have a naturally stronger odor on normal days that gets even stronger on those special days... maybe that's what they are picking up? The awareness of excess odor can lead women to be self-conscious about it and flat out refuse any interaction during those days... Some may only restrict interaction that results in bloodied clothes (not just bedclothes). It's down to personal choice, I guess... RE: Periods, body positivity, and third wave feminism

Girls bleed. . . from their WHATS?
Are you saying that every month when my wife tells me the "store is closed," she's not just sad because she misses her favorite shopping venue? Pretty sure almost any bodily fluid if present in enough quantity is not going to smell like daisies. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I never said that menstrual blood is devoid of odor. Or smells like daises. But, foul-smelling menstrual blood (as in, the smell honestly makes you want to gag), that persists despite proper attention to hygiene, is not normal. It's typically a sign of infection, often due to pH imbalance. And it should be brought to a healthcare provider's attention. RE: Periods, body positivity, and third wave feminism
