I don't understand your comment. Leaving aside your judgment that I'm in no position to lecture on humanity (what does that even mean), I don't see where I did lecture anyone on humanity.

I was criticizing the News for dragging this into the spotlight for their own ends. They are the ones exploiting this tragedy.

It's politics and the news dragging this out for gain.

Again, it's her decision. She's probably not even aware of serving as a stunt. I would rather judge that whole affair by how much support she gets in the future rather than by just a few tears of a political audience.

Trump however, should be apologizing and taking the blame for Ryan's death, just as presidents before him took the blame for the deaths of soldiers.

Trump has blamed everyone but himself. It was the general's fault. It was Obama's fault. I doubt he's ever taken responsibility for anything in his life.

He needs to get a plaque that says, "The Buck Stops Where?"

That's terrible. Losing my husband is my absolute worst fear in the world and it would destroy me. I can't even imagine how she must be feeling having to deal with such a heartbreaking loss while having people crap all over her and her late husband during such a difficult time. I'm pretty sure I would just die.

I know what it means to grieve a fallen soldier... I wouldn't care what Trump was using it for as long as the hero's name was being spoken all over the country he died defending. They don't die for the fame but they deserve it. I can't stand Trump but I'm okay with putting spotlights on the fallen.

Is that what it is, Thump? Presidents just grandstanding over the graves of fallen soldiers and taking advantage of their sacrifices for photo ops? How do you know that for sure? Isn't it also possible that our presidents are and were sincere in paying tribute and bestowing honor on our wounded and fallen soldiers?
