No. You don't know. You just don't like Trump. No matter what he says or does, and not just you, you're going to be critical. But this is about Carrynn Owen who was verbally attacked just because President Trump paid tribute to her husband before Congress who lost his life in a raid against ISIS terrorists in Yemen. Somehow those douche bags didn't think she should have been present there.

I assume it is just the naive assumption made by many Trump supporters that anyone who doesn't agree with them is not fully human.

Is that what it is, Thump? Presidents just grandstanding over the graves of fallen soldiers and taking advantage of their sacrifices for photo ops? How do you know that for sure? Isn't it also possible that our presidents are and were sincere in paying tribute and bestowing honor on our wounded and fallen soldiers?

But the fact is, he invited her to a political event with the intention of making mention. If he simply wanted to pay tribute and bestow honor (as if he could add a scintilla of honor to Chief Owens's sacrifice), then the President could have paid a private visit to her.

Or he could have offered to pay his respects publicly in the way he did while making the offer to do so privately if she was more comfortable with that. But of course the only reason he reached out at all was to bask in all the applause she/he got - even though he blames the fact that the raid had begun being hatched before he got there as well as the bungling of the military itself for the death. His refusal to accept any blame is really shameful.

Not to diminish her loss in this mess, but let's try to remember that it cost a lot of innocent lives. Among them children. So I'm not touched by tears shed by politicians and brass, ostensibly mourning one of their own - who, let's be clear about that, also was a victim.

Let's be clear, this was a botched operation. The whole stunt was to divert attention from the fundamental fuckup. I'm not the least bit surprised that the same guys repeating Benghazi over years like a broken record, get all bleary eyed when their own side pulls a cheap and very transparent political stunt.

If it's possible you're wrong then you can't be sure it's actually what you think it is.  All you know is, if it's connected to President Trump, you don't like it.

So what. He invited her to be present at his speech to Congress so he could publicly pay tribute to her husband, Chief Owen. As other presidents did before him, he publicly bestowed honor on a fallen military service member. You may take issue with it but many others don't.

Personally, if I were in her position, I'd probably have attended also. Trump may be near the top of the most shittiest-person-alive stack, but he still is the president. From her perspective, I fail to see this as a political thing rather for her it seems like a chance to remember and honor her lost loved one and possibly find some support during her moment of grief.

Those who are giving her crap for this are real assholes.
