Opinionated articles from a magazine or newspaper vs real-time statistics from say, a government agency whose primary focus is jobs (ie: the Bureau of Labor and Statistics), a government agency which pulls its information from sources such as Unemployment, Employers, other Federal, State and Local agencies. Okay.

ps: There are plenty of "qualified" men. It just depends on what each individual person (in the case of the topic of this thread: woman) is looking for and what they want to have in their life. I cannot stress this enough... not all women are out to seek a rich guy. Some rich men are utter assholes. Sorry, but I'll take living paycheck to paycheck with a man who treats me well over a rich piece of shit any day.

Much of feminism seems to hope for an equality of result (not equality of opportunity, equality of result) in earnings and status between men and women - equal numbers of men and women CEOs, congresspeople, doctors, etc.  And of course they want there to be at least as many rich women as rich men.

But at the same time, when women go to get married, they want to marry a rich guy.  A woman usually wants to marry a man who makes more money and has more status than she does.

It's sort of like it used to be with men and virginity.  Men wanted to "sew their wild oats" before marriage, but when they went to get married, they wanted to marry a virgin.  But if everyone was out sewing wild oats, where were all these virgins supposed to come from for men to marry?

That's a good question.  I bet there were fewer virgins afloat at any given point in human history than the locals thought there were.  

So if women are making just as much money as men, where are all the rich guys supposed to come from for women to marry?

I've been waiting for years to float this idea.  Obviously, there's going to be a shortage of actual men..so what we need are male instruments.  A way to take one guy, and sell him as an asset to a dozen or more females.  Now, obviously, at some critical point after the forced global enslavement of men but before the eugenics farms and sterilizations.......we're going to need to stretch those instruments with exotic male derivatives, ofc.
