Big Grin  I actually need more than 3 of me:
  • 1 to go to my day job,
  • 1 to practice clarinet and other instruments,
  • 1 to work on my tap dancing steps or go to the gym or go hiking or swimming,
  • 1 to renovate the house,
  • 1 to catch up on my reading,
  • And 1 to post on forums.

If you ever have any going spare, I'll be happy to take one off your hands. I'm sure I'll find a use for it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Last time I tried to take over the world, back around the turn of the millennium, nobody noticed.   Sad  I ended up giving it back because the hours really sucked (and because I was pissed off at Dubya for invading Iraq right on my official holiday, the spring equinox).  *mutter mutter*

Not just 1 for the instruments; you can be an orchestra of Astrega(s)  Cool
Clarinet just produces the right voice to relax over a shooting star Astrega number 909823 took you to  Rolleyes

That's a good point -- with me and 5 clones I could play all the clarinet parts at community band on Wednesday night if none of the other players can make it (tonight there were 2 of us; last week there was just me; and if everyone showed up there'd be 6 of us.)

It's a fantastic instrument, although not the easiest one to get started on because of all the different fingerings you need to learn.  A standard clarinet, competently played, has a range of almost 4 octaves (chalumeau E to altissimo C).  I've only hit that high C a few times so far, but I'm getting there.

Sounds complicated. I always couldn't wrap my head around the concept of blowing and moving the fingers with it, but keep practicing. Loving the instrument is one basic key, I think getting the C will open the road to getting the E, the concept always stays the same.

Not an expert, I never held a clarinet in my life (love its sound; though). Can I attend ? sure I'll hear some good tunes  Smile

Well, if for some odd reason you find yourself in Pinawa, Manitoba on the afternoon of April 23, come on over to the high school/community centre.  Big festival that day.  (Look for a slightly crazed-looking woman with a blue shirt and 2 clarinets.) Big Grin

Wink Gonna attend by spirit. My physical body is locked somewhere in the Middle East.

Rock em up, all faith here that you'll play some awesome tunes.

But God doesn't exist, so there are no good arguments.
