The vast and powerful conspiracy of political correctness strikes again.

Or, it just doesn't matter, except to people who will never compete against them. How many cis women athletes refuse to compete if a trans woman is entered in an event? They are the only people for whom it should matter and I don't see many/any up in arms.

Fallon Fox is the best example. A lot of MMA fighters are reluctant to fight her. Even the best feel like she's dangerous in the ring. Rousey isn't the only one, IIRC. Missed this one. She still gets fights. She still loses fights. As an example, this is probably one of the best that show a disapairty between perception and reality. Fox is (and has always been) a smaller fighter. She competes with athletes who have higher muscle mass. She competes with athletes who have longer reach. She competes with athletes who have higher or comparable levels of performance linked hormones and her personal response to "man bones stronk" was nothing short of hilarious.
What she seems to have done wrong, like Laurel Hubbard, is win something in a big way every now and again. There were competitors that decided not to compete with Hubbard as well, reportedly. I know, she fucked that other girl up...but it is a fight, so...? The same can be applied to Hubbard. She lifted alot of weight. She's a weightlifter. Yeah, she beat her immediate competition, horribly...268kg for a 19 kg advantage over second place, in the 90+kg....however, the record in that class is 348 kg........so...she has a ways to go yet, lol.

According to falon fox's record she's won more than just every now and again.
She's had 6 fights, only lost one and 3 of the wins were by knockout.

You have bad stats. It's not your fault, there's just no integrity in MMa and their records don't always follow them or follow them accurately from division to division, organization to organization. In any case, all I hear is you complaining that she doesn't have a positively atrocious record. OFC she doesn't, she's a good fighter. Every concern explicitly mentioned in thread about possible "trans advantages" is demonstrably untrue in her case (and she actually went through the fucking hoop of being the test subject herself), and that only leaves fellow competitors who credit god for victory but blame their poodles poor health for a loss.....and talking heads who, after the concens in thread are eliminated, are left with nothing but "yuck, that dude had a dick" and "this is all a global trans pc conspiracy!"

Where are her stats that you have?

We don't have to provide evidence of claims in this thread. That's what keeps it going.

I think it's the "not enough evidence" crowd that keeps this whole barge, both the thread and the social controversy, afloat, personally.
Either you feel that what consensus there is on the subject within the literature is sufficient, or you don't..but the paucity of evidence would -also- be adequate support for the IOCs decision, so I'm personally comfortable with it either way.

Under no circumstances should they allow hunting of trans people as sport. Just a stupid, horrible idea.

IKR, it's not fair to the hunter, trans are dangerous. We all know how fast/strong/tough Those People are.

Okay, tongue out of cheek now. I have no idea if it is fair for trans women to compete in women's sports events. Of course one could question whether there is such a thing as 'regular' women. Some are born with just one x chromosome and others with three of them, while the majority have two x. Should sports authorities concern themselves with such differences? Should there be different events for them? Then there are the chromosomal male persons whose bodies do not respond to the presence of testosterone in the usual way and so physically present as female. Do they compete with men, with women or in their own event? Then there are the many other ways things can work out known as inter-sex. At some point don't you just have to say "well, fuck it"? If you look and feel like a woman, maybe that just has to be good enough.
