As far as I'm aware that is correct. Believing in God is a characteristic trait only found in humans to the best of my knowledge. It doesn't say all humans believe in God, just those that do are human.

They would all gladly kill you for saying that.

With "love" of course.

I don't think so. Since only muslims do the killing thing nowadays.. And that's their theory, so they would be happy to hear it...

"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

Lol, exactly.

I can see why someone would be disturbed by that message if they didnt believe in God. They are suggesting that you are un-natural, that you are some sort of freak, and no one wants that to be true about themselves. Lets face it though ( i dont believe your freaks!) atheists are the minority and your beliefs are "unusual."

Lack of belief isn't unusual. Just unpopular where you are.
Here in England, the non-religious come very close to out numbering the religious.
In Sweden, theists are the minority. I guess you could say by your words that theistic beliefs are unusual or as I would put it, unpopular.
Sweden happens to be ranked as one of the most peaceful nations that also has been ranked as one of the most educated nations in the world. Not to mention over 200 years of peace.

I plan to move there some day. With a non-religious population of 85%. Nice!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Here in England people don't seem to care about anything, I think that's much worse personally. The problem is that so many atheists fall victim to the monopoly on morality that the christians preach, and through a lack of understanding people recently turning from religion seem mentally unable to evolve and strive to be better for the sake of it... it's like they're saying I refuse to eat at mcdonalds!!!!, but they still cram fastfood into their throats from a Wendys or Burger King... They just don't get the point obviously.

In response to these christian flyers though, maybe this site could host some printable atheist flyers? I know not many people would care enough to hand them out, but i;m sure a couple of people might be grateful to have something to print and distribute if they felt like causing some distress outside their nearest church or stick them up over a christian poster in their school heheh

Good idea?

What do you think? How in anyway would this make total sense? because if you ask me, it means that roughly 70% of the human population isn't "human"

Perhaps religious people thinks I am superhuman. I doubt I may be considered super in relation to all humans, but I certainly think I am quite super in relation to religious people.

Sure, its human to believe in god, like its human to be in error. Pretty much the same thing if you ask me Big Grin

Speak for yourself. I have not yet made an error so colossal as to believe anything special about a despotic beduin deity from the early iron age modified by the frenzied imagination of one of the numerous narcissistic cranks of late iron age.

What a sneaky use of the no true Scotsman fallacy.Thinking

Are you claiming 70% of all people are atheists? Evidence please.
Probably due to certain flavours of the lunar religious right having a long list of what they consider NOT human. (unnatural)

PS: I'm about to watch a movie which sound so bad it might be great : 'Tank Girl'. Anyone seen it?
