It's thread-titles like this that make me happy the "clickbait" rule was rescinded. I won't lie, I was as curious as a two-year-old in a paint-locker.

Do you remember the Black Panthers standing outside the voting place smacking their nightsticks against their hands and scowling at people going in to vote for or against Obama?  That's voter suppression.

I don't have much to add to the original topic, but those "Black Panthers" are the New Black Panther Party, an organisation that the original Black Panthers have distanced themselves from. The NBPP are a documented hate group and what they did outside the voting buildings was definitely wrong and probably illegal.
