That movie was so bad and such a gigantic fall after the awesomeness of the original trilogy.

STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE - 93% on Rottentomatos

STAR WARS: EPISODE V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - 94% on Rottentomatos

STAR WARS: EPISODE VI - RETURN OF THE JEDI - 80% on Rottentomatos

STAR WARS EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE - 55% on Rottentomatos

Undecided


The ratings match very well with how I feel about the first 4 episodes. Episode 1 took a steaming crap on the series AFAIC Undecided

In fact those scores are super duper accurate to me because I always felt like episode 6 was a really really good movie but still not as good as the first two, too.

I've always said that ROTJ would have been a far, far better film if it the Battle of Endor had been the Battle of Kashyyyk with wookiees rippin' people's arms out instead of those ridiculous koala-people besting the Empire's finest with pointy sticks.

I seem to recall the original plan was supposed to be for Wookies, but it was changed for some reason.

See, I think the scenes in the Emperor's throne in ROTJ are the best scenes in the whole saga. But the rest of the movie.....ehh. Not too great.

I love ESB. I've seen all the movies MANY times, but I've seen ESB close to 100 times since I was a toddler. Everything about it is so damn great. Even after so many times I STILL get chills when Luke and Vader first meet on Cloud City. "The Force is with you young Skywalker ... but you are not a Jedi yet." The way Jones delivered that line... I don't know man I love it.
