I honestly don't know the point. Perhaps Minimalist can answer that. But what I do find interesting is that you seem to equate only the modern humans to the biblical humans who descended from Adam and Eve. Are you implying the older human species weren't human?

There was at least one humanoid species mentioned in the bible that predated Adam and Eve. There is already a whole discussion on that subject.
