Yes.

In fact, it is clear that Paul and the other disciples believed that the World was flat, like a pancake.  This is one of the many reasons why the Roman aristocracy ignored them.

Yes Drich, we are smarter, we have a space telescope. We use computers, we put humans on the moon, we use cell phones. Even you are smarter than the writers, but for say you are still stuck on their bad claims.

None of the NT writers, not even Muslims or Jews or Buddhists or Hindus had any of our modern knowledge. Nobody knew what an electron, proton or neutron were back then. Nobody knew what DNA was back then.

I am sorry someone sold you an old book of myth Drich, but that was then, this is now. It was understandable back then when people wrote those bad claims, and others fell for them, but they didn't know any better back then.

We just have to be smarter than you, dripshit.  That's an easy bar to get over.

We are better informed, that's for certain.

Or rather those of us who make the effort are better informed. The rest go to church on Sundays.

Legend has it that 10 000 witnessed the death of Cú Chulainn, roughly contemporaneous with the Christian resurrection myth. I place no more stock in the one that the other. Claims of eyewitness accounts which can be neither verified nor corroborated my be safely dismissed as ahistoric and non-evidential.

As for dirchwits inane blather and desperate attempts at putting fault on non believers it's really par for the course at this point

Jesus had the biggest crowds for any resurrection ever recorded. The white cloth they used on the ground was the first time they'd laid them out for any resurrection and it made the crowd look smaller than it in fact was, and then there are the people who couldn't get into the resurrection due to donkey shortages on that day.

And the 2017 resurrection was bigger than the 2009 and 2013 resurrections COMBINED!

Like I said in a prior post, in both polytheism and monotheism in antiquity worldwide, numbers even in mere entertainment were often used to convey the importance of a story. Most humans outside the ruling class, the bigger the number was the more "awesome" the story became. There was a false perception of the magical power of numbers, even like 7 or 12 or 40. But when conveying battles and witnesses to things be it a play or a religion the numbers were unimaginable to the layperson.

Even today people are superstitious worldwide with different numbers, in Japan for example, most buildings don't have a 4th floor. If you are aware of more of world's history of superstition you can see it isn't limited to religion and religion used those numbers just as in entertainment to draw the reader/listener in.
