AF Biggest Loser/Fitness Challenge-May 3 to Whenever We're Not Fat Anymore
RE: AF Biggest Loser/Fitness Challenge-May 3 to Whenever We're Not Fat Anymore
I haven't been the best, so I won't update. I'm just too fucking busy with this new house. However, I wanted to pop in and give you all props for keeping up with your goals, however well or bad you're doing with them. That you're focused is cool. Keep it up.

For the first time since my leg injury, today I did the exercise bike as I had been doing it beforehand, with no problem Smile So I think my leg is basically better and I can put it behind me, and just get back to what I was doing before... but this time with no jogging/running. It's a real relief because being put out of action when I was just starting to make progress was very annoying and depressing.

Came back from a week of vacation in Portugal.
Ate everything and still lost 1kg....
I don't get it, but yay!

My goal of coming to be at around 70kg is only 2 kg away... Might keep going after that is reached, just to see if I can get back my 20 year old weight of 65kg. Tongue

I thought you lived in Portugal. Did you move, or did I just misunderstand?

Gained about ten more pounds back. Feeling fat again.

When we were in San Diego for six days, by my scale I put on 15 lbs. It's water gain of course from an abrupt departure from a (mostly) tetotaling low carb high protein diet to fish tacos and beer. In terms of calories it wasn't crazy. Damn carbs and alcohol.

My target pre-surgical weight is 286. I hit 283 and change. I'm at 289 and change. Or was is 298? Anyhow, I go up to Seattle for appointments in two weeks and I'd love to hit that target weight.

So I'm having a beer. Makes sense, right?

If I'm not comfortably below 286 by then. My weight has been volatile. If I have to, I'll go 1200 calories of low carb liquid for per day three days prior.

This is what an exercise in frustration looks like.

Aug 2. Intake into surgical program
Aug 31-Sep 5. Vacation in San Diego
Sep 14-15. Overnight camping trip

This is what a change in diet does, without an increase in intake above what your metabolic rate is supposed to be. Sodium, carbs, and even a reasonable amount of alcohol can cause wild swings in your weight that have little to nothing to do with calories consumed or exercise.

It's probably water retention from alcohol consumption. It'll pass, I think.

I started kind of back on my diet today. I think the basement demolition around here will help me keep the weight off too.
