Naive people always believe that Communism has failed because the "right" leaders were not in place, but this time they will succeed because they are so much better and smarter and they will lay down the path to Communism in a benign and progressive manner, so that the masses will follow willingly and there will not need to be a bloody revolution, although there may need to be some chaos and despair, so that the masses will plead for the dear leaders to take control and make it all better.

Ever read the "plan" for Communism to take over the US, which was read into the Congressional Record last century?  You could go down the list and check off one by one what has been already accomplished.

Clinton studied Marxism as a means to power and a way to control people under government.  Obama was reared in it.  By his own admission, he choose to associate with people who advocated Marxism.

Communism always fails to bring a healthy civilization to its people and they always end up dying one way or another due to the government's failure.  Examine the first settlers to the New World and their experiment in Communism and take it from there.

It sounds like it could work, should work...but human nature is what keeps it from working.  Our Founders knew that and so they framed our Constitution to try to avoid the worst of human nature from corrupting the USA...knowing all the while, that human nature most likely would anyway.  That is why they declared that in order for this grand experiment to work, the populace must be politically active, informed and moral.

Just knock it off, I do know my economic history and the same thing that caused the great depression caused Bush's great recession. I am really sick of people trying to equate arguments that the top can afford to pay more, and that pay is not meeting the cost of living as a call to a Stalin or Cuba state.

Nobody I would agree with on economics is arguing for a one party nanny state. Year after year since Reagan anyone challenging "don't tax the rich" and "we need to protect consumers with regulations" has been wrongfully vilified.

Marx was not right about everything and what Stalin did was a state kleptocracy regardless. The only thing Marx was right about was labor is what wealth stands on. Even Billionaire Nick Hanauer has said workers don't make enough, I would hardly call him a commie.

As far as I can see there are no socialist or communist or capitalist nations anywhere on earth.
Every single one of them blends elements of these ideologies to one degree or another. Even the Scandinavian nations who call themselves socialist still have private property, a stock market, corporations, etc... A far far cry from the social ownership of the means of production.

Calling any US democrat a communist or even a socialist is just political theater. Even Bernie Sanders is not actually a socialist.
If god was real he wouldn't need middle men to explain his wants or do his bidding.

^^^^^^ This is where I am at, although I would not put it in these words.

I hate how our species sets up "formulas". It isn't that they don't work, you can point to any single point in history where they seem to, but it always comes at the expense of others. When humans argue political and economic ideologies and claim they work, my argument is always the same, "For who?"

What I end up seeing just like religion is that they all amount to "it works for me", which is a failure to see the bigger global historical picture of our species. YES, they all work depending on point of view. That is because our species a vast majority of the time adapt what our parents sell us, so we end up defending that which is local and familiar with.

Now, having said that, I value more the west, although it is hardly perfect and does have it's own baggage. The good side of the west is that our laws lean to protecting pluralism, but the downside is that it is just as easily manipulated by wealth and greed.

To me, labels of religion, political and economic issues are really nothing more than artificial labels humans hide behind ignoring, or flat out refusing to accept, in the end, it is all about making arguments to control resources.

Now how has Obama ever advocated for Communism? I don't care that Rudy Ghouliani thinks he's a Communist because he talked to one. Apparently he said Davis helped him figure out his black identity. Davis associated with anybody against white supremacy. That included Communists. The FBI investigated everyones brother and sister for Communism then, including Eleanor Roosevelt. To be clear I didn't read his book and I don't think you did either.

If Obama was a communist he wasn't very good at it.

No shit, if Obama was a Communist, he'd pass power down to a family member like Un did or Castro did. For 8 years since the day after he won all we heard from the far right was doomsday, and that stupid pesky constitution got in the way and he left office.

Yea OBAMA YOU FUCKING SUCK AT BEING A TYRANT!

Okay, you can deny it all and/or ignore it all. I won't bother with such posts again. Return to your normalcy bias.

Ignore what? You didn't provide any examples of Obama and his communist beliefs. You just said he had them. I'm not doing the research for your assertion.
