Drich is an idiot. He doesn't understand that with more time and more data we get more accurate knowledge. 

If he stupidly thinks science claims it can give us an exact day or exact second he is totally clueless as to what scientific method sets out to do.

This is the same mistake some make when watching the local weather in huge county and the weather person says "Scattered thunderstorms" and the viewer doesn't see any rain and thinks the weather person is wrong, missing the point of the use of "SCATTERED"

In scientific terms 13.8 billion is quite accurate. It is our best estimation to date.  If he is still buying the 6 day crap, he is living in a delusional past.

If God is outside time so as to not require being created, how can it *do* anything or have thoughts or desires?

You are now outside the "time line" of the dvd. did you suddenly become retarded (anymore than normal I mean?) What I am asking now just because you do not live at any central point on that dvd does it mean you know any less or more of the history on that dvd?

Now to answer a couple others with the same analogy imagine on the same dvd everything had a creation or birthing point of some kind. Now if you created the DVD would your creation then also be required to be on that DVD? No As you and your origins are pre time. As I said the DVD contains all of time and if you have it then you are outside of that time line, that dimension.

These explanations are no less made-up than anything else about God is. Putting him in time yielded paradoxes, so they made up the answer that he was outside time. It's just more fantasy. There isn't a single person, including Drich, who has any knowledge of God. Every single fact of God was at one time or another pulled straight from someone's ass. None of it counts as fact.

You're not describing a 'timeless' being but one that has it's own time/space in which to act. If our time/space require a creator, so does the time/space of the creator you're envisioning.

Since for our cosmos, time began at the point when inflation began, a creator is counter-indicated, since as you've pointed out, time is a prerequisite for creation.
