That has been my complaint too. We're not getting a nuanced tale any longer. Instead we're getting a video-illustrated action summary. It needs to be incubated and fleshed out in Martin's story telling process. Then a suitable (multi-edition) movie format could do it more justice. If only that wanker would remember he is our bitch now and quit enjoying his fat-assed life so much.

Somebody please help me here.
My biggest complaint is how they keep killing the undead. You have creatures walking along with all the tendons in their leg flapping around in the wind on bare bone. Then somebody bangs them with a hammer, cuts them with a sword and they fall down re-deaded. How is that supposed to work? Your lower jaw is missing but Jorah pokes you with a knife and you're suddenly incapacitated. Oh wait, magic?

No need for him in the story right now since he's only useful for naval scenes/battles. Hopefully he makes an appearance in the finale.
